We are in Vika's Country

Just a quick note to let all of you know that we have arrived in the capital of Vika's country.  Praise the Lord for allowing everything to go so smoothly!  We did not have any delays, all our luggage made it in one piece, we were able to pick up some groceries and get settled in our very nice apartment thanks to our trusty driver Niko, and we even were already to meet with Alla and Pastor Misha with Bible Orphan Ministries, who are such a blessing to many forgotten orphans in this country!  They have found some great doors to be able to get into the orphanages and share God's love and even yesterday one of the orphans was saved.  There are many needs in the orphanages where they minister because there is not much funding.  We were able to bring some craft supplies for them to make some crafts with the orphans.  We are very tired after a very long day/night and day again, but I will update again tomorrow after our appointment.  If you happen to be awake at your 2 a.m., please remember us in prayer!  :)  Thank you so much for all your prayers!  I know that the Lord has been answering in mighty ways and we know that He will continue to do so!  We are blessed above measure by His goodness to us!  Everything is very foreign because we can't even read any signs or anything due to the cyrillic alphabet that is used here.  :)  Now, I can definitely empathize a lot better with foreigners who come to America for the very first time!  Until tomorrow.... we are finishing up some preparations and getting to bed!

  2. So glad you made it safely. God works in ways beyond our imagination. Our church does mission work in Zhytomir each year. I have begun to follow the blog for Bible Orphan Ministries and maybe we can do something in conjunction with them - or they may already know our team. I have never gotten to go with them.
Praying for you and your journey.
